Synd det, såg att dom hade snöflinga inne(kuliense) som verkar vara omöjlig att få tag på annars.
Två veckor låter ju perfekt, hinner jag få upp mina nya kar och köra in det ett tag med.
Fick du nåt svar på bottensubstrat tillsammans saltet? Gissar att korallsand inte rekommenderas men skulle vara kul att höra om du fått reda på mer angående detta.
They do not recommend korallsand as it changes the water parameters and you will have to test yourself how much salt you will then need to get the desired water parameters for your aquarium.
I use the salt now in all my Sulawesiaquariums. The Purpur Sulawesi, the Matanos, the Caeruleas and the Kardinals all have yngel, I have females with rom and they are all very active. The Harlekins are still alive after almost 11 weeks (wow) and I had one female with rom already but she threw off the eggs. All in all I am very happy with the salt.

Anyways, for the Crystal Red/black you use the Bee Shrimp Mineral. I do that as well. That dissolves instantly and makes it easy to get the water to the recommended 200 +/- 50 µ.
Can i steal this thread a little bit? I just wanted to ask you if there is some other products that you recommend. If there is which ones? There is so much you can read about and everything sounds so nice and beautiful that makes you want to buy everything.
I was thinking about water stability and since i use RO water the salt is great for me. Do i need something else in the water? like vitamins?
Nu har jeg også fået fat i Sulawesi Mineral 8,5 og 7,5 og Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+…
Så skal jeg igang med at teste det i mine akvarier. Er godt nok spændt på om det virkeligt virker
Sulawesi Mineral 8,5 kommer jeg ikke til at bruge i første omgang, men jeg skal på sigt have fat i nogle af de mere sarte Sulawesi arter…
@Rickard: Yes, I have the salts on stock. The shop will be closed from 21.12. t.o.m. 4.1.2012, so order now if you want them before jul.
@Paradise: Well, from a business point of view I would have to say, sure, you need ALL :roll:;). But honestly… if you feed the räkor a good variety of food, all those extra things aren’t really necessary. You can of course use them but they won’t die if you don’t.
