Wow, one of my filterräkor has a large package of eggs under the belly I discovered yersterday evening !!! Panic !!! :shock::shock::shock:
I wanted to breed the nåshörningar first but I guess I will use the aquarium for the big mama now 
Must fix a few things first and then catch her and move her over. Ohh, I am so excited !

The lady moved into her Exil and the first two days she wasn’t amused. Now she sits on the filter inlet right under the outlet of the hangon filter and filters. I feed her 3 times per day with a pipette.
The saltwater aquarium is ready as well. Following the instructions by J. Libus the bottom is Coralit, is is full with “mogen” saltvatten, a gentle filter, it got Startbacteria for saltwater in it and the belysning is on 24h (until the larvae move in) so that phytoplankton will develop.
I have also ordered a culture of Nanochloropsis salina, Grotech PhytoStart & PhytoFood, Liquizell, Liquifry No.3 and Preis Microplan. Genchem Polytase I have already here.
Now it is just a waiting game

The Nannochloropsis salina culture has arrived. I stored it in the fridge and put a few drops into the saltwater aquarium. The lady is still carrying her eggs.

It has been 17 days since I discovered the eggs and nothing has happened yet. The saltwater is turning nicely green and is more than ready for the larvae. I also have a large culture of Nanochloropsis salina now, so if anyone needs some, let me know.
Har du lyckats tidigare med att kläcka fram dessa räkor? Det låter som de har samma krav som Amanoräkorna?! Låter jättespännande!! Lycka Till!!

LARVAE !!! The babies are here !!! Just saw the first few drifting in the tank !!! Oh, I am so excited !!! Tonight I will use a flashlight to collect and move them.

De har fina filter räkor… snacka om att man blev sugen…

de kan man titta på i timmar utan att tröttna…
