Hej allihop !
I have received 3 different sorts of Sulawesi moss.
- Gorontalomoss (Anthoseros sp. Gorontalo)
Size: up to 6 cm
Water temperatur: 22°C - 25°CAt higher temperatures it turns brown.
Should be kept in “soft” water with low KH/GH. The Gorontallomoss comes from the slightly cooler streams leading to the Gorontallo-Lake in Sulawesi and not from the actual lake itself. It thrives in normal warmwater aquariums but should not be put into special Sulawesi-aquariums. In
- Sulawesimoss (Anthoserus sp.)
Size: up to 6 cm
Water temperatur: 22°C - 25°C. At higher temperatures it turns brown.
Comes from the cooler streams on the island of Sulawesi. In a classic Sulawesi-Aquarium it will not thrive but in normal warmwater aquariums it grows relatively easy.
- Towutimoss (Anthoseros sp. Towuti)
Size: up to 6 cm
Water temperatur: 22°C - 25°C. At higher temperatures it turns brown.
Very robust moss from the streams leading to Lake Towuti in the south of Sulawesi. It loves oxygen-rich, soft water.
The moss has been in transport for quite a while so right now it looks a bit poor
I am trying to get it back into shape with lots of CO2 and light. Once it looks better I am willing to sell some, so if you are interested let me know. You can of course get it now already, but as I said it is a bit brownish ![]()
I’ll post some photos this weekend.
