Jag har för mig att du pratat om nån salt/mineral blandning till osmos/regnvatten för att efterlikna vattenvärden i Touwti - Sulawesi. Detta skulle vara intressant att testa.
Jag har även läst om nån engelsman som gjort nåt likande till sjön Matano, vet du nåt om det?
I know that Aqua Tropica offers now a new Sulawesi Salt but I don’t know details about it yet. Once I do I will post it here.
Then I am right now testing a Sulawesisalt from the Logemann brothers (Garnelenhaus). Since the räkor from the Towuti are the most difficult to keep, they concentrate on finding a salt that makes rainwater/osmoswater exactly like the water in Lake Towuti. Salts that work for the Towuti räkor work for the Matano and Poso räkor as well. The salt I am now testing isn’t perfect yet; meaning it is difficult to dissolve. You use 4gr Salt on 20l Osmoswater, heat up the water to 30°C with a doppvärmare and then add CO2. With the added CO2 the salt dissolves within 2 days. Without CO2 and heat, it doesn’t. After 2 days, you take the CO2 out and put in a luftpump to drive the CO2 out again. So you see, it is a bit time consuming still. But it is still in the test phase and so far, we had only good reports (Harlekin and Spinatas with eggs and such).

För mycket slabbande med vatten för mig. Jag slutade göra mitt vatten mjukare med oxalsyra för att det var för mycket arbete, detta är minst lika mycket arbete. Men klart intressant och är nyfiken på resultatet.
Då kardinaler går bra här hemma och jag fick Spinata till rombärande har jag en idé jag ska testa. Tänkte testa osmosvatten med lite av mitt eget vatten samt bikarbonat, vi får se hur det fungerar. Måste hitta nån touwuti räka också så klart.
Har du AT Nano-FishCure inne? Stod med i texten men fanns inte i listan på högerkanten där man kan klicka och köpa.
En annan önskning är Soil, det finns idag inte så många återförsäljare av soil så det vore bra med fler
The problem with Soil is that frakt is expensive. But I will look into it.

Newsflash:
In december Aqua Tropica will start the Aqua Tech-Series. This series includes filters & heaters & other technical tillbehör for Nano aquariums and Nano Soil. The soil will be available in brown and black and will stabilize the PH around 6,8. It comes in 2kg, 5kg and 10kg.
I will post more information as I get it.
